My Name is Debra Tavona and I am the owner and operator of Tavona Arts & Crafts based in Zimbabwe, Africa.

Reliability

With so many businesses competing for clients, you will wonder to what level can you rely on a given supplier. I conduct my life…in and out of business ….with honesty and reliability.

This brings me to the subject of ethics.

Ethics

As fate would have it, while I was setting up my business in 2005, I met respected Shona sculpture supplier, Doug Dicker of Masvingo Supplies, who encouraged me to pursue what I had a dream for and gave me invaluable advice which I have applied to my business practices.

Ethics is at the top on the list of priorities.

Honesty

Zimbabwe has been through a hard time since 2000 and continues to be in financial trouble but there are still crafts people who thrive to produce the best quality possible, and it’s these individuals I have focused my attention on.

Quality

I feel I would be misrepresenting my business if I allowed all manner of quality onto my site as I do not wish to be known as having many items, some of which are not to the standard I wish to supply.

So I have narrowed the list down to those crafts people who are stable in their ethics and quality and reliability.

I don’t wish to let you believe that the remainder of the crafts men and women have poor quality products. Though there are many inferior quality products available, not all are suitable.

One of the requirements to be on my main list is CONSISTANT quality.

Consistency

So, even though my product list is small at this point, I know these items are very fast sellers as my clients have given me feed back to confirm this.

Please look through my site and I look forward to being one of your most valuable suppliers.
